It's time to get caught up with the latest comic books from Dark Horse!
John Ostrander, Jan Duursema, Dan Parsons, and Brad Anderson continue "Siege of Saleucami" in
Star Wars: Republic #75, which features more on Quinlan Vos, Aayla Secura, and the rest of the
Clone Wars cast as we gear up for
Revegne of the Sith!

here.
The
Clone Wars also continue in
General Grievous #2 by Chuck Dixon, Rick Leonardi, and Mark Pennigton. In this issue, we see the villain kill some Ugnaughts and threaten a group of padawans. There's some other people that talk a lot too, but that's pretty much all that happens in this series.

More stuff happens in
Star Wars: Empire #29 by Thomas Andrews, Adriana Melo, and Michael Atiyeh. "In the shadows of their Fathers" continues the 5-part story with the Rebel Alliance on Jabiim, and the natives are still mad about the Skywalker name! Then the Empire shows up to ruin all their fdays even more! Cover by Tomas Giorello.

It's too bad this series is getting cancelled next issue, because
Star Wars Tales #23 is a damn good read.
Things start off with a tale from the
Knights of the Old Republic era from the video game. "Shadows and Light" by Joshua Ortega, Dustin Weaver, and Michael Atiyeh serves as an intorudction to some cool characters from the game, and really introduces the galaxy for those not familiar with the game (like me.) I'd love to see more tales like this, but with different characters of course.
The third chapter in the "Nomad" saga is up next, by Rob Williams, Brandon Badeaux, and Dan Jackson. We get a little look into the past of Jedi Darca Nyl as he stops his quest for a moment to help out a family caught in the midst of a protection racket by some local bandits. Meanwhile, the object of Darca's quest has his own problems. This has been an interesting tale thus far, and the artwork is getting better with each chapter.
The cover story for this issue focuses on Wedge Antilles, and no doubt serves as an introduction for the upcoming
Rogue Squadron series. In "Lucky," Rob Williams, Michael Lacombe, Serge LaPointe, Andrew Pepoy, and Wil Glass show us a flashback tale of the reason why Wedge joined the Rebellion in the first place, and it's a real tearjerker.
Finally, Jeremy Barlow and Lucas Marangon introduce the issue with a funny look about what you can expect when you cheat at Pazaak with Mandalorians acting as security. All under a cover by Brandon Badeaux and Brad Anderson.
An alternate photo cover of this issue is also available (see image below.)
