Jango Fett Helmet

From Gentle Giant:

The name Fett carries with it a cold air of dread and competence. To those with the credits to hire him, it is synonymous with success. To those with reasons to fear, Fett means capture or death. The name and reputation are just two of the many things Boba inherited from his father, Jango. In the final years of the Republic, Jango Fett was regarded as the best bounty hunter in the galaxy.

For the first time, Gentle Giant is proud to present a faithful .45 scale reproduction of the iconic Jango Fett helmet. Featuring smoke tinted lenses, a display stand, and much more. The incredible recreation of this helmet is sure to stand out in any Star Wars collection.

Made of durable plastic, this faithful reproduction is the next in a continuing line of new, collectible, scaled helmets from Gentle Giant.

Gentle Giant continues their scaled replica line of helmets with this latest offering of the Bounty Hunter: Jango Fett! For fans who may not be able to afford a full size replica helmet (manufactured or custom made), this is a good option to have at a much lower price point. Although we haven't seen a lot of these released yet, it sounds like the line is moving forward which means more helmets down the line.

I really can't compare this to any of the other scaled replica helmets that have been released as I haven't actually seen them in person. With that said, the Jango Fett helmet comes encased in a plastic shell inside the standard Gentle Giant box. The COA is in landscape form which is a bit different than the portrait style we are used to seeing with the statues and mini-busts. The helmet is very light and it sits on a ball-joint that looks like it can be removed. This gives you the ability to pose it in different directions while keeping the Imperial symbol on the front of the base facing forward. As you would expect, the range finder does move up and down enabling you to lock it into position. The inside of the helmet is quite detailed with the mock padding and mock electronics present.

Next September marks the twentieth anniversary of Hasbro's Kenner The Power Of The Force action figure collection. The line introduced a new generation of children to the wonderful world of Star Wars toys and ushered in the modern collectibles we all enjoy today. Our ever-inquisitive Probe Droid is actively searching all corners of the galaxy to find out if there is interest in products that commemorate this very significant 1995 release.
I'd be into a Hasbro The Lost Line style assortment
I'd love to see Gentle Giant make a Jumbo Kenner 1995 Luke Skywalker
I'm behind both of these ideas!
I got started in 1995, but I have no interest in such a concept.
It isn't for me.
