As part of Hasbro's bi-weekly Q&A session, Rebelscum passed on 3 of your burning questions and now we've got the answers for you.

Rebelscum: You have recently said that a Darth Sidious with Mechno Chair may possibly be coming in the future, would such a toy be from The Phantom Menace, or the new Clone Wars tv series? Also would the Darth Sidious figure be a new sculpt, repack of the original holo Sidious, or simply a retool?

Hasbro: It would be from the Phantom Menace. Sidious would likely be all new.

Rebelscum: There have been numerous rumours of the Titanium Series line being discontinued. Some stores are no longer stocking them, some don't even have pegs for them, and many are going on clearance. In addition, Entertainment Earth has removed some of the later waves. Is this just a transition to Clone Wars packaging/ delay, or is the line really being cancelled? If so, are you replacing the line with action fleet? Okay maybe not, but it would be great!

Hasbro: Rumors of Titanium's demise are very premature, as the line continues to earn its keep (unlike other Titanium incarnations, which did struggle). The line is changing over to a new Assortment number for Fall, so that's probably what happened as the older one is phased out. The line will continue through 2009.

Rebelscum: In various replies by Hasbro we received several times the answer that the Cloud Car would not look "agressive enough" to be a success.

Hasbro: Compared to all other vehicles we could do, we feel that the Cloud Car is visually uninteresting, has the least on-screen action, and would be perceived as the most boring (i.e. not aggressive looking) to boys compared to anything else we could do. The Twin Pod Cloud Car is probably the vintage vehicle that is the most plentiful and can be made the cheapest as well. You can pick them up for $15 and under - much less than the price we'd need to command for a new one.
