Hermi Odle was one of the aliens employed at Jabba's Palace. An expert in weapon making, he was tasked with making the palace impenetrable. Seeing as how everyone in
Return of the Jedi just waltzed in whenever they pleased, it would seem that he was not very good at his job. While some reports claim than Hermi Odle's name is a take on 'Hear Me Yodel', creature call sheets from the production of
Return of the Jedi suggest that his name was originally "Hemmy Moroid", possibly a pun on "hemorrhoid". Classy.
Odles's action figure was released in 2007 as part of the
30th Anniversary Collection. He was packaged with a force pike weapon and a silver collector coin. Special features include an articulated mouth, and cloth robes. He has ten points of articulation, including ball jointed shoulders and ankles.
Overall, he is one of the larger action figures in the modern line. His stature and deluxe robes made him a bargain compared to the other figures in his wave, and he makes a great addition to any Jabba's Palace diorama. Click
