The Neimoidian Warrior (also known as the Neimoidian Gunnery Battalion, or Royal Guard) was a Separatist military unit created to provide important officials with sentient guards when it was too risky to use droids. They are easily identified by their distinctive bronze armor and conquistador-styled helmets. Several Neimoidian Warriors were present on Mustafar, and all were slaughtered by Darth Vader.

The Neimoidian Warrior's action figure was released in 2005 as part of the Revenge of the Sith assortment. He features a removable helmet, and his accessories include an over-sized blaster rifle with spring-loaded projectile. He has 12 points of articulation, with a spring-loaded swivel waist, ball-joints in the head, shoulders, and ankles and swivel-articulation in the elbows, wrists, and hips. A silver repaint of this figure was also released that year as the Neimoidian Commander. The Commander swapped out the large rifle for a Battle Staff.

This figure is very colorful and striking. The deep red of the armor has a metallic shine that contrasts nicely with the matte gray of the under armor. The yellow and red eyes really stand out. The head seems too small for the large shoulders, and the spring-loaded waist seems a bit unnecessary, but it is a toy after all. Click here to see our photo archive entry.
