2014 Mission Series
Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader engage in a Lightsaber duel on Cloud City, which floats above the gas giant planet Bespin. Luke fights bravely but cannot defeat the highly skilled Vader. Luke is dealt two blows: the loss of a hand, and the shocking truth about Vader's identity.
The third wave of figures in Hasbro's Mission Series collection was revealed (partially) on January, 2014. The assortment, which began hitting shelves in North America the following July, included the MS08: Utapau set with Obi-Wan Kenobi and General Grievous, the MS09: Bespin set with Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader pictured here, and the MS10: Senate Duel set with Darth Sidious and Yoda.
While the Luke Skywalker figure, decked out in his Rebel Fatigues, debuted in this set, the Darth Vader was a repack from the previously released MS01: Star Destroyer set from the first assortment in the Mission Series line.

- The Darth Vader is a repack of the figure released previously in the 2013 Mission Series MS01 Star Destroyer two pack. Though identical in all ways that count, this version can be identified by the later date stamp found on its butt.
