The Movie Heroes line only saw Multi Packs and Battle Packs released in 2012. While most of the figures released in these sets were repacks, there were some very cool new figures released, such as the animated Darth Maul with robotic legs and Nightsister from the Target exclusive Darth Maul Returns Battle Pack. The Movie Heroes Battle Pack collection also gave us our first look at the future of Star Wars action figure design with the Bespin Battle and Duel On Naboo three packs, both of which included three newly sculpted figures with five points of articulation. These new figures traded excessive articulation for a film accurate silhouette and paid tribute to where it all began with the Classic Kenner collection which ran from 1978-1985.
